Profile
Kyle Godwin is a talented, local Perth product, who graduates to the Emirates Western Force senior squad having been a member of the Extended Playing Squad in 2012. Last season was a notable one for the Zimbabwean-born 20-year-old at club, junior representative and Super Rugby level. The former Australian Schoolboy, whose family moved to Australia in 2000, made his Super Rugby debut off the bench against the Queensland Reds before earning selection as starting flyhalf for the Australian Under 20 side that contested the IRB Junior World Championship in South Africa. Godwin finished the season on the bench for the Emirates Western Force, earning his third Super Rugby cap against an All Black-laden Crusaders outfit in Week 18, scoring a try with one his early touches in a composed and mature display. Godwin finished the season by guiding Associates to their first premiership in 10 years, scoring a try in their 23-17 grand final win over Nedlands.
