2007 Drill of the Week
Drill Of the Week
Welcome to Drill of the Week. RugbyWA Coach Education Manager, Matt Tink, will introduce a new drill every Tuesday during the KWIK Transport & Crane Hire Senior Competition season to provide assistance in coaching the basic elements of rugby. The drills relate to various aspects of our game, and should be used in conjunction with reinforcing the key coaching points outlined in the core skills document.
Drill of the week is designed to help coaches with planning and variation of their sessions.
Remember, coach the skill and not the drill!
Further training techniques can be found in the Emirates Western Force Fundamentals Coaching DVD.
