Women's Competition

Western Australiahas its own Women’s Rugby competition based in the Perth metropolitan area. There are currently six clubs represented, with the competition running throughout the winter months.  All skill levels are welcome, from beginner to aspiring National Representatives.

In 2008, RugbyWA Women's sent a State side to the National Championship held first week of July on the Gold Coast.  RugbyWA Women's State Team finished 5th place in the National Championship and will be in a better position in 2009 to be in contention for a Top Four Spot.  

Congratulations to Debby Hodgkinson, Melissa Rowe, Kate Stoney (Cottesloe) and Stacey Kilmister (Perth Bayswater) on making the Wallaroos 35 Women Squad.
