The State Championships are played each year between three regions. They provide an opportunity for club and school players to play at a higher level in a tournament style competition. It is a major element of the selection process for our Junior State teams.

National Talent Squad

Description

The NTS is an ARU funded program providing talented players with the opportunity to train at an elite level. This includes a skill component and strength & conditioning program, as well as ancillary programs in well being, nutrition, ASADA etc. Entry is via invite only.

Description

The RugbyWA Junior Academy provides additional learning opportunities for junior players identified as potential NTS or State players. The program aims to take the core of players from each junior State team and work on their core skills during the off-season.
