RugbyWA Media Release
Experienced flanker Tamaiti Horua has been ruled out of the Emirates Western Force’s final UK tour match against Leicester Tigers tomorrow night (10pm WST kick off).
Horua was ordered to sit out the match by team medical staff after a training session in Leicester last night, still suffering the ill effects from a head-knock he sustained in the 22-3 loss to Northampton last weekend.
Horua was named at lock yesterday in hope that he would be fit to take part in the match. His place in the starting lineup will be filled by 21 year old Perth-Bayswater lock Brent Murphy, who was originally named on the reserves bench.
Australian Under 20s forward Tom Murday has been named in Murphy’s place on the bench.
The majority of the Emirates Western Force squad will return to Perth on September 3 following tomorrow night’s tour finale.
