CAMERON Shepherd only enhanced his reputation as one of the code’s most exciting game-breakers in 2008, recording a strong Super 14 campaign after reverting to his preferred position of fullback.

A superb athlete with a powerful long kicking game, Shepherd is equally effective in any of the back three positions and has a knack for producing a big play when a match is hanging in the balance.

He is the highest points scorer in team history with 289 points and has the most tries for the Emirates Western Force with 17. ‘Shep’ is also the current club record holder for points in a season (121pts, 2006) and points in a match (25 in 2007).

A broken leg curtailed his 2008 Test campaign after he appeared to have the running as the first choice No.15 in Robbie Deans’ new-look Wallabies outfit.
