Western Force align with community Rugby for 2019

The Western Force will continue to reinforce their ties with community rugby and help to grow the game at a grassroots level through the club allocation program.

The Force players within the 2019 squad have been distributed across the 14 premier grade clubs plus the two junior feeder clubs in WA.

With many of the players either being a junior or have a long-standing link with the community clubs majority of the players have returned to serve there previous clubs developing in house relationships further.

The Force players will assist in specific coaching, mentoring and skills development sessions with senior grades, junior teams and individual players, as well as occasionally play with the clubs.

Out of the new arrivals Nick Jooste will return to his club Cottesloe, whilst new recruit Andrew Ready will join forces with Henry Taefu at Curtin.Johan Bardoul and Andrew Deegan will take on a junior mentoring role with the Ellenbrook Vipers and North Coast, whilst continuing to run out for Perth Bayswater and Wanneroo.

Cottesloe – Marcel Brache, Ben Grant and Nick Jooste.

Curtin University – Andrew Ready and Henry Taefu.

Ellenbrook Vipers – Johan Bardoul.

Joondalup Brothers – Clay Uyen and Brynard Stander.

Kalamunda – Henry Stowers and Jeremy Thrush.

Nedlands – Tevin Ferris, Tom Sheminant and Heath Tessmann.

North Coast – Andrew Deegan.

Perth Bayswater – Harrison Lloyd and Issak Fines.

Palmyra – Jack McGregor and Chris Heiberg.

Southern Lions – Masivesi Dakuwaqa and Fergus Lee-Warner.

UWA – Chris Alcock and Carlo Tizzano.

Wanneroo – Rod Davies, Andrew Deegan and Leon Power.

Wests Scarborough – AJ Alatimu, Feleti Kaitu’u and Brad Lacey.

While the players have been directly aligned to Premier Grade clubs, any junior and Community Grade club can access the players through RugbyWA and make requests to seek support and engagement from the Force stars.
